I’m hitting your inbox a day early because something I’ve been secretly working on for months is finally here, and I wanted to share it with you first.
As many of you know, my dad is blind. Growing up in small-town Canada, I watched him navigate a world designed around sight. He always found a way, but I also saw how much effort the everyday things could take.
It’s one of the reasons I believe in the potential of AI. I’ve watched it give my dad new ways to connect with the world and with our family.
For Blindness Awareness Month, I partnered with Wispr to tell our story. Using Wispr Flow and only his voice, my dad worked with AI to build something that addresses a challenge he’s faced since my son, Roman, was born.
We captured the experience in a 15-minute documentary. I won’t spoil the surprise, but watching my dad do this meant more to me than I can put into words.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Share this to your Instagram story and repost it to your feed.
2. Watch the full-length documentary on YouTube.
I’m grateful to have this community to share it with. Please hit reply and tell me what you think. If it touches you, I’d love your help sharing it. ❤️
With love,
Jenny
