This week’s newsletter is going to be a short one. I take a lot of pride in researching interesting topics for the BDE community, taking the time to tell interesting stories backed by data.

Honestly, I’m just tired this week, so we’re going to skip all that. Instead, I’m hoping to lead by example and acknowledge that sometimes I have way too much on my plate. I’m feeling the burnout creeping in.

This past week, I traveled to New York for the Forbes Power Women’s Summit. I had multiple full days of meetings and conversations with incredible women innovating on so many different fronts.

Then I spoke on a SpaceX livestream to over one million viewers, showcasing how we’ve been using Grok Bot to scale my businesses. Even baby Romie made an appearance!

I also recently announced the launch of Gemela Media, my new executive branding agency, taking everything I learned from becoming a Top 50 Creator on LinkedIn and applying it to other professionals looking to blow up their professional networks.

To summarize, I’m busy and I’m exhausted. Sometimes, to take a big leap forward, you have to stop and recharge. I’m intentionally carving out some time to plan for Roman’s first birthday, which is a nice change of pace from my usual weekly workload.

I’m curious, what are your early signals of burnout? How do you manage it when you feel it creeping in? I always read every single response.

Jenny

P.S. If you have any good ideas for baby’s first birthday, I’m all ears.
